The Institutes CPCU Society is pleased to offer Insights, a quarterly professional journal, to all members. Our goal is simple: to create high-quality, informative materials that address issues affecting risk management and insurance professionals.

Build your professional brand as a thought leader by writing an article for Insights. Membership in The Institutes CPCU Society or CPCU designation is not required to submit an article for Insights.

Note: We accept articles on a rolling basis and if your article is not selected for publication during the current issue's submission window, it could potentially be held and/or revised for a future issue (with author permission).

Types of Insights Articles

There are three main types of articles in each issue of Insights.

Full-length articles range from 2,000-3,500 words on a wide range of topics, focused on risk management, insurance, leadership or career development.
Inside View, typically 500-1,000 words, is a personal, firsthand account from a Society member on a variety of topics.
Society Spotlight articles range from 500-1,000 words and often highlight the efforts, accomplishments, news, or topics related to our interest groups, committees, and chapters.
