Tell us about yourself as a professional.
I started my insurance career right out of college and I have been hooked ever since! I recently made the move from personal lines underwriting to commercial agribusiness underwriting. I'm enjoying the challenge and learning about unique commercial agribusiness risks.

One skill that I've been working on lately is emotional intelligence.

Why are you passionate about working in insurance and/or risk management?
What I love about working in insurance is helping individuals and organizations manage their risks. Put yourself in the consumer's role and you will be a successful risk management and insurance professional.

Tell us about something you enjoy outside of work.
My career in insurance combines my interest in business and passion for helping others. I'm passionate about the insurance industry because there are so many opportunities to grow. Insurance has been around for a long time and isn't going away any time soon, so I feel secure in my job.




In your opinion, what’s the best thing about being a CPCU Society member?
Being able to volunteer my time with this organization while gaining leadership experience in return. I've also been able to network with many wonderful people and have had opportunities come up that I never would have had if not for the CPCU Society.
