Louis E. Nunez, CPCU, ARM, AU, AAI, AAM, and AIM, is a graduate of the College of Insurance (now St. John’s University) and holds BA and MBA degrees. Lou is a past president of the New York Chapter of the CPCU Society as well as a past chair of the Excess, Surplus, & Specialty Interest Group Committee. He joined Zurich Multi-International Programs as an international technical underwriter in 2013.  With Zurich, he is responsible for global casualty referrals including reverse flow, energy, construction, large and middle market risks.  He is regionally responsible for war, terrorism, and KRE guidance.

In the role of chief technology officer, Bernie is responsible for HAI Group's technology roadmap, identifying emerging trends, and harnessing new technologies to enhance product offerings and operational efficiency. He joined HAI Group in 2016 as the lead application developer and most recently served as the director of information technology. He brings both information technology and insurance experience from his tenures at The Hartford, Microsoft, and GE, among others. Bernie earned his master's degree in computer engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a bachelor's degree in computer engineering from the University of Connecticut where he completed a co-op education program with IBM.

John Romano serves as a principal in BakerTilly’s financial services risk advisory practice, with more than 20 years of experience. He leads the insurance regulatory practice and internal audit risk advisory services for insurance organizations. In his role, he and his team help clients and state regulators successfully address a variety of ongoing challenges and requirements. John has provided services to state regulators, including in-charge and supervisory responsibilities with NAIC regulatory financial examinations, market conduct and financial analysis, consent order and holding company filing reviews. In addition, John provides training to state regulators on examination processes, enterprise risk assessments and emerging trends.
