Insuring the Modern Vehicle: Impact of ADAS (In2Risk 2024 Replay)

Presenters: Jill Kirshman, CPCU and Kay Wakeman

Jan. 16, at 2 p.m. ET

Join us for a special In2Risk 2024 session replay on Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS). This presentation on ADAS in modern vehicles and the impact on accident rates and severity is a collaboration between CARFAX and IIHS-HLDI. We'll explore why ADAS-equipped vehicles seem to experience more severe accidents, effects of deactivating these features, and whether such vehicles merit pricing discounts. The director of insurance outreach at IIHS-HLDI will shed light on claim trends linked to modern vehicle features. This session will offer in-depth insights into modern vehicle loss data, drawing from billions of records on vehicle history and safety.
