Join us for an interactive webinar that will explore the importance of resilience and mental fitness for insurance professionals, enhancing longevity within the risk and insurance community by presenting mental skills that will enable growth and the ability to thrive through stress and adversity.

Throughout the webinar, Kristine Fox (Regional Manager of Sedgwick) and Neil Wattier (CEO & Director of Training at Arizona Mental Performance Training) plan to discuss obstacles that may hinder mental fitness, such as stress, pressure, anxiety, and adversity; explore science-backed performance psychology techniques and strategies to develop and enhance mental fitness; help attendees gain practical tools for pursuing optimal mental health and well-being through real-life examples, case studies, and published research.

Kristine is a claims professional with over 20 years of industry experience handling all types of property and casualty losses, from severe injuries and fatalities to total loss fires and catastrophic storm damage. She is the regional manager for the Midwest region of Sedgwick’s Property Americas Division and directs the deployment of field resources to assist in the handling of claims as needed. She’s the former president of the Omaha Chapter of the CPCU Society where she planned a variety of educational sessions for members and represented the chapter at the annual meeting of the CPCU Society, now known as In2Risk.

Neil Wattier, MA

Neil Wattier is the CEO and director of training at Arizona Mental Performance Training (AMPT), a leading human performance program headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona. AMPT empowers individuals and organizations in sports, corporations, and high-risk occupations to unlock their full potential through tailored mental skills coaching, resilience training, and leadership development. Neil’s growing team includes military, law enforcement, college and professional athletes, as well as highly experienced behavioral health and physical health professionals. This team is positioned to address the continuum of organizational needs through a performance optimization, stress moderation, and resilience-building model with distinct applicability across the workforce and particular value for those in high-pressure, high-performance roles.

Neil is also an adjunct professor of psychology at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona and the mental performance coach for the GCU men’s rugby team.  He is a highly experienced resilience and mental performance coach with a Master of Arts in performance psychology from National University. Neil recently retired from the U.S. Air Force after a successful 27-year career. As a Master Resilience Trainer for both the Air Force and Army, Neil has a deep understanding of the neurophysiology of the human brain and body, which he uses to help clients self-regulate during times of intense pressure and anxiety. Neil has also worked with a wide range of clients including business executives, senior military leaders, young professionals, youth and adult athletes, fitness professionals, and faith communities.
