Financial Impact of Reinsurance Decisions

Join us in partnership with the Insurance Accounting & Systems Association (IASA)  for this upcoming webinar on the financial impact of reinsurance decisions. Attendees will gain an understanding of how property and casualty reinsurance transactions flow through income statements and balance sheets. The program will also illustrate the impact of reinsurance on key financial metrics.

Within a few days following your registration for the event, you will receive an event invite from ON24 (do_not_reply@on24event.com) that includes the event access link. Reminders will be emailed 2 days and 2 hours before the event. Handouts if available, can be downloaded within the platform.

Stephen Korducki

 

Steve joined BMS Re US in October 2014 and retired in August of 2022. During his days at BMS, he served as Executive Vice President, President, Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Vice Chairman for BMS Re US as well as General Securities Principal and Chairman for BMS Capital Advisory, Inc. Prior to BMS he served as a managing director at Guy Carpenter where he worked with several Florida and national clients in the design and placement of property catastrophe reinsurance programs. Steve also was a Senior Vice President at E.W. Blanch where he founded the company’s capital markets subsidiary, worked on complex reinsurance placements such as the California Earthquake Authority and advised clients on the financial impacts of reinsurance decisions. Steve’s primary insurance experience includes positions as President and Chief Executive Officer for two Florida based property and casualty insurers. He also held a leadership role for twelve years with Booke and Company, a consulting firm acquired by Aon. His legacy there is his leadership and branding of the Booke Seminars, executive education and software in insurance accounting and finance, that became the industry standard and continue to be offered thirty years after his departure from Booke. He began his career by serving for eight years in the audit practice of Ernst & Young. Steve graduated from Marquette University and attended grad school at Northwestern University. He is a certified public accountant, recently held the Series 7, 24, 63 and 79 securities licenses and serves on the Board of Directors of several insurance companies.
